自然素材 中霧島壁 および そとん壁 [住宅]

自然素材は数多く出回っていますが、ここで、高千穂の中霧島壁 及び そとん壁をお勧めします。
中霧島壁は、室内用です。そとん壁は外壁用です。
材料は、桜島の火山灰であるシラスです。
主成分は、ホームページからの抜粋ですが、
「珪酸７０％、アルミナ１４％、カルシウム３％、ナトリウム３％、磁鉄２％、カリウム３％、ほかマグネシウム、チタン、マンガン、リン酸、H２O－、H２O＋ から構成されミネラル分が豊富に含まれています。
そしてこれらは、結晶３０％：非結晶７０％で鉱物構成されており、この非結晶部分が軽石状の多孔質状になっています。」
要するに、土なんですが、性能としては、いわゆる、珪藻土と同じ事がおきます。
吸着といって、臭いを取る効果と、湿度調整があり、見た目も、経年の変化もあるものの、劣化はせず、いわゆるメンテナンスフリーであり、内装で言うとクロスの貼り替えはなく、外装だと、２５年間メンテナンスフリーと言われています。
少なくとも、通常、家の外装の モルタル下地吹付タイルよりも「もち」が違います。
しかも、この材料を外装で使用する場合、扱いは、建築基準法でいう、モルタルと同じ扱いとなります。ですので、準耐火や省令準耐火でも使用できます。
内装で使った場合、臭いが消える事もさることながら、洗濯物が部屋の中で乾きやすくなる点もお勧めのポイントです。
コストは、地域差や扱っている左官屋さんにもよりますが、大げさに高い商品ではありません。
