北京オリンピック 北島すごい！ と北京の建物 [スポーツ]

昨日の北島康介選手の活躍は、「すごい」というより、「どうして金メダルとれるんだろう？」と思ってしまいました。
これは、すごいを通り越して、むしろ不自然に感じたことなんですが、久々に「すごいやつ」を見てしまった感じです。こんな風に思ったことは、そうないので、あまりの凄さに 見てるこちらも何も言えませんでした。
その他のスポーツでも日本人の活躍はありますが、柔道を見ていると、あらためて、普段の実力を出す難しさを感じてしまいます。
北島選手は、普段の実力を出すトレーニングをしていたのでしょう。
バドミントンのオグシオペアよりもスエマエペアが良い成績なのは、普段の実力以上のものが出ているのでしょうが、オグシオも普段の力を出せないで終わったので、やはり、普段の力を出すと言うことなんでしょうね。
水泳の競技で、よく解説の方が、「自己ベストですね。頑張りましたね。」とありますが、これはメダルでなくても、本人を褒めてあげたほうが良いのではと思います。競泳は、自由形の決勝に残った方もいます。これは快挙です。日本人で今まで誰も行った事がないのですから。普段出す以上の成績を上げるアスリートは見事と言うしかないです。メダルメダルと我々素人は言いますが、褒めて良い人は沢山いるはずと思いました。
さて、少し話は変わりますが、北京の外の建物・・・・・今、建築ラッシュで様々な建物が建っています。
世界の建築家が、多額の資金が流れ込む中国人を施主として建物をバンバン建てています。
日本人でも数人の建築家が、新しい都市計画を題して参加しています。素晴らしいことだとは思います。
しかし、自分が危惧するのは、使う側である中国人が使いこなせないのでは？と思っています。
そもそも、建築家の作品は、日本でも使いこなせていません。使いこなすとは、その場・部屋・ｽﾍﾟｰｽを建築家の意図を汲み取り、そのように使うことですが、はっきりいって日本人ですら使えません。これは、元からそんな文化がないというところです。「変わった建築」でおしまいで、使いこなそうとは思っていないのです。
建築物はある意味、「道具」です。
かなりお金のかかった、道具というには、大きすぎるものではありますが、人間の目的に合わせた「道具」なんです。今回のオリンピックの建物も開催する為の道具なんです。
ですから、道具を使う側がどうなのかも考えないと、ただの宝の持ち腐れで、しまいには、腐れ・・・つまり「廃墟」になることでしょう。中国人の文化水準が急激に高くなるにしても、そもそも、日本人ですら使いこなせない このような建築作品を使いこなす文化ができるかというと、すぐというのは難しいと思います。
この間、テレビで日本の若い建築家が作った建物が、意図とは違う使い方で、外は広告をべたべた貼られ、中は使いこなせず、内装もはがされたり（建てたばかりなのに）と言う具合で、びっくりの使い方でした。
近いうちに、そんな多くの建物を作った人間が槍玉にあがるでしょう。言い方が悪いとは思いますが、使いこなせない道具を多く提供することは、資源の無駄でもあります。
中国の方の国際性は、架橋をみれば分かりますが、日本人なんかよりも上だと思えますから、使いこなすには、しっかり教えればできるのではないかとも思いますが、もう少し、時間をかけるべきと思います。
ここでお話したかったのは、日本人は実は建築作品を使いこなせない＝評価できない民族と言いたかったし、同じアジアの中国の人々にいきなり建築作品は使いこなせないと言いたかったのです。
今回は、ちょっと辛口でしたが、マイナス的な考えではありました。
