最近、ミニ・ノートなるパソコンが流行っていますね。
自分も欲しいと思い、量販店の売り場へ通う日々ですが、購入しないで 考える毎日です。
現在、5万円程度ですが、性能にもばらつきと、ハードディスクの容量での迷いがあります。
そもそも、このパソコンは、図面を紙で持ち歩く習慣を変えたいと思い、欲しいのです。
図面をデータごと持ち歩き、その場でCADで処理する方が早いと考えているからです。
利便性だけでなく、なによりもエコです。なにせ、紙がいりません。
自分よりも年の行っている方で、パソコン使えない設計事務所の方がいましたが、FAXでなんでも送るという対応で、メールができないし、CADもできないという事で、もはや生き残れないという感じでした。
当然であり、メールやワード・エクセルはもちろん、最低限のCAD操作はできないといけません。
そういえば、FAXも買い換えました。というか、パソコンで強引にFAXしていましたが、この度、電話にFAX機能がつき、かつ、紙で受信しない、SDカードにメモリー保存できるタイプにしました。
これも非常にエコです。
紙だけでなく、インク代もないのですから・・・・・・・・・
紙を使わない分、電気代がかかるといわれますが、微々たる電気・・・・確かに紙であることの便利さもありますが、データにすると整理も楽なので、非常に便利を感じています。
FAXはパナソニックの おたっくすジュニア VE-GP62-S
これは、市場価格だと1万5千円くらいです。（まーもっと安く買える方法もありますが）
何はともあれ、エコ活動も設計者の務め。最もエコしていない業界 建築業界でできるだけの事をしないといけませんよね！

ミニノートは処理速度が遅いのでCADには向かないと思います。
似たような価格で、機種切り替え時期に普通のノートが安く出るときがあり、これを狙った方が宜しいかと・・・
SDカードにデータを保存できるFAXはいいですね。プリントアウトが必要なFAXって、半分も無いのではないでしょうか。ウチもFAXを買い換える時にはこのタイプにしたいです。
