西洋漆喰 [住宅]

8月に入りました。暑いですね。
そういえば、3年前にひどい病気にかかって寝込んでいた夏が思い出されます。その時は、８月後半から９月半ばまで動けませんでした。医者にも行きましたが、わけのわからん風邪でした。皆さんも暑い時の病気には気をつけましょう。
さて、８月に入り、検討物件や新規事業、そして建築士の講師と、儲からないけど忙しい という状況です。
夏休みは、近場の山でも登ろうという気分です。近いということは・・・・あれしかないでしょう。
さて、上記、検討物件のお話ですが、住宅です。
実は、この案件、お施主様と情報はやり取りしています。ご要望を聞かせて頂いて、検討する繰り返しです。只今、模型を作りながらの検証中です。
今回は「西洋漆喰」がテーマであり、それをどう、お施主様の満足のいく意匠表現へと昇華できるかが全てですね。
ということで、自然とモダンといわれる外観ではなく、欧風とも言えるものとなりますが、正直、お施主様の好みが欧風でないと作れないので、自分としては、ハウスメーカー時代、なしえなかった、長年作ってみたい住宅にチャレンジできそうです。
漆喰というのは、日本でも本来はお馴染みの外壁。
いつごろか、サイディングに取って代わられ、日本の住宅が安っぽくなった原因ともなったように感じます。
今や、漆喰を塗る事自体、リッチなことになってしまいましたが、そうなった原因が職人さんが減った事や、使われなくなったから材料が減った事だと思います。昔はよく使われたので、職人も材料もあったのです。
竹こまいといって、和式の内部の漆喰の下地となる「竹で編んでつくるもの」ですが、近年、石膏ボードの普及、耐力壁の考え方により、低層の日本住宅でないとやっていない現状があります。
西洋漆喰の内装といえば、ドライウォールがありますが、逆にアメリカ等では、今でもポピュラーです。もっとも、ドライウォールを使わないアメリカの家では、家の内部を塗料で塗装することも珍しくありません。
ということで、今回の家には特別な思いがあります。
